Not sure exactly why, but the Rangers are looking for corner outfielders and a DH. That means Teixeira will remain at 1B and there won't be anywhere for Adrian to play. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me unless the Rangers feel that Adrian needs another year in the minors
. I really thought he would be on the roster out of spring training this year, but it seems that he might wind up starting the year in the minors. Absolute worst case scenario is that he gets a September callup again.
Really strange situation, but the dadgum Rangers have been so quiet that no one really knows what's going on right now *grumble, grumble*. I'll keep my ears open as always though.
