Some progress was made. All but one amendment was defeated. But I still don't think they will open 2005 in D.C.

so where will they start?? I figure they will just play in RFK why wouldn't they?

They will play at RFK but it needs to be refurbished for baseball. MLB keeps saying they will start 2005 in D.C. but there is a lot to be done and the clock is ticking.

why did they make the announcement that it would be moving to DC then? could these voting processes be done before the team was announced to be leaving montreal?

They will play there i guarentee....I used to watch Pre-season orioles games once in a while at RFK....it doesn't take long to set it up.

MLB is doing a good job of trying to prove me wrong.
The legal issue seems to be over and they can move the team now.
