Yeah they could x-ray it , but what would be the point? The only thing it would do is de-value the bat and Ruth as a player... Not sure I would trust it if they did and it came back neg. for cork anyways... When MLB x-rayed all of Sosa's bats did they expect them to say yep he was cheating!!! Not a chance!
