Well I guess it depends how often you use it for how loong the abtteries will last. But from what I understand, the DJ has 2 batteries of the same type as iPod's one battery. I guess if you used eitehr of them enough, the battery would die sometime, or get really short on time between charging. The the DJ having 2 batteries as opposed to iPod's 1 seems like a pretty big bonus to me.

Also, are you sure Apple can replace the battery? I've heard people who are biased towards Apple admit that when the battery dies you can't replace it Do you're saying you just send it back and they'll give you a new battery? I imagine there's a decent fee that comes along with that though.

Apple will replace it, but like everything in life, it costs ya money. But the new ipods are sick. They place music, hold GB and you can look at colored pictures on them. (This reminding anyone of palms?)

I have an iPod, and there is no comparison to other MP3 players. The interface, the design, it's all so natural. You'll regret it for the rest of your life if you don't get an iPod. Dell is crap. Even they promote the iPod over their own stuff.

I've seen reviews of the new 60GB iPods, but I wouldn't recommend getting one. The screen is too light without the backlight, it's bigger than the 20GB models, and they're so freakin' expensive. Buy a lower model and be happy you did.
