New ideas to improve the quiz!

Arlo and myself had the idea that maybe it might be exciting to end the trivia quiz in a series of Trivia Playoffs! The first eight in the season standings qualify, you need to beat your opponent directly to head to the next round. A mod or admin asks five sets of questions in each duel, different questions for each player. Each player has 24 hours to answer a question, everything allowed, but only one guess possible.

Just an idea. How does that sound? Any other suggestions while we're at it?

I like it. Just one question: Would qualifying be the top answerers in a month? How would that work?

Not sure. We discussed that, too, but then we thought that letting the top players in the season standings participate in the playoffs would be fairer. Any advantages in letting the monthly winners qualify instead?
