Highway 40 is the same as Interstate 64 (but only through the middle part of St. Louis).

This is my favorite. Being one of only a few people in my office from IL everyone asks me directions when they make the trip to the East side. When I tell them 64 they look at me like I am speaking in tongues. If you live in MO you can't grasp the concept that 40 turns into 64 once you get across the river.

I mostly drive during rush hour and these are my rules:
1. Don't ever take 270 unless 70 is a parking lot.
2. Don't ever take the PSB.
