why use floppy disks anyways? I dont even have a floppy drive on my computer. Go buy a jumpdrive or memory stick. I got a 1GB USB jump drive for 100 dollars.

Probably getting the error message from Windows that it needs to be formatted. I've had Windows tell me disks are not formatted when I know it is because it worked in another machine. If you're using two different machines, it's probably because they're running different versions of Windows or has other hardware compatability issues. If that's not the case I have no idea.
