Big Stars Who are Ice Cold

Postby zoozam » Tue Apr 22, 2003 10:38 am

I read an earlier post that spoke to the Biggest Busts of the year. I feel it's a bit early to call busts and sleepers - three weeks does not a season make.

That said, I do have some concerns about underproduction to date. Here are some of my suggestions of players who could use to heat up:

Ichiro - let's hope the AL west pitching is that good
Maglio - let's hope he's nervous to get things started this year
Jason Giambi - he starts slow but this is ridiculous
Abreu - will he ever fulfill that promise?
W. Miller - seems to be throwing well but the results aren't there
D'backs - i hear last place calling Mr. Collangelo
Reds, Padres & Tigers - these guys SUCK

Chipper Jones
Billy Koch
Bobby Abreu
Jim Thome (only 2HR)
Mike Hampton (should be better next time)
Russ Ortiz (same here)
Ichiro

I could probably think of more, but I don't have enough time to write them all down!
