How do you like Suppan's chances today against SF?

I picked Suppan off FA in my deep league, but I'm not throwing him in there against the Giants. They've been averaging like 8-9 runs per game for the last week or so. No thanks.

I'm taking a risk and starting Foppert in that game. I'd bench him but This week i'm head to head with a team that has good pitching.

put Suppan on the bench, I know that everyone thinks that for some reason their pitcher can contain the Giants, but let's be realistic, it's not gonna happen.

How about Foppert vs. the Pirates? For Jesse Foppert to blast his way into the starting rotation when the Giants are dominating tells you a little something.

Well, Suppan did very, very well against the Giants. Anyone who has him as a FA in their league should grab him. Maybe he'll cool off, but beating the Giants is no easy feat.

Jeff Suppan's stats:
4-0 16K 1.37ERA 0.98WHIP
Those are some great numbers. Yes, he does play for the Pirates but they aren't nearly as bad as they were last year. Am I saying the he will finish with 20 wins and an ERA under 2? No. But those are some solid numbers and I don't think you string a bunch of GREAT starts together like that to cool down just as quickly. And he did beat the Giants tonight, the hottest team in the NL. If he's available, I would pick him up.
