Oswalt and Jose Hernandez for Guardado and BJ Ryan

I've been offered owalt and Hernandez for Guardado and Ryan. Think I'm getting a great deal but wondering if I'm missing something. I have Pedro, Maddux, Nomo and Woody Williams and still have Mike Williams, Steve Kline and Villafuarte closing, although I'll try to trade one of my starters for another closers. What do you think?

That trade would be vetoed in the majority of leagues. Naturally, do it, but don't expect it to go through without a fight!!!

Well, I think you'd wind up missing Guardado a bit more than you'd expect, but trading for another closer would counteract that. accohen is right: the trade seems to be significantly in your favor, at least under most scoring formats.

OK, in my look for relievers to fill the Guardado hole, I've been offered Jose Mesa for Hideo Nomo. Should I do that? Is that equal value based on what I still have left in starters?

do it your getting hosed Jose Hernandez is a quality ss with power(coors field) and oswalt will only get better. BJ ryan is worthless and everyday Guardado isnt worth oswalt alone.
