I have this horrible finance assignment to do. It's estimating Beta's (don't worry about it if you don't understand what it is). My problem is that I don't know how to make graphs on excel. I've done most of the important stuff in excel, I just don't know how to graph it. If any knows how I could do it, it'll be a great help! I have to hand it in tomorrow morning, so the sooner you could post up some advice the better.................thanks! :-)

I have little experience with finance other than my personal budget so I can't help you with specifics but making graphs in Excel is pretty easy. Just Insert->Chart from the menu or down on the sheet tabs and a wizard will walk you through it. They aren't that tough but the ones I make are usually pretty simplistic.

Thanks Amazinz..... that seems to be what I need. But, after making a scatter plot I still need to put a line-of-best-fit............hrmmmmm...... i'll keep at it.

If you have a TI graphing calc, you can get the line of best fit from that. And then just put the given function into the Excel chart.

I know it can be done, I just did it the other day for some physics lab report, but I can't remember how. Big help huh? :-°
