i thought he was going to have surgery and will miss at least half of '05?

i dunno if he'll have surgery or not, but i think that the chances of him signing with a team as a closer are pretty slim. i wouldn't bet on it, just because there are some proven closers in the FA this year...

I think he's scheduled for his 2nd Tommy John surgery. :-o

If so, that will put him out about 18 months. :~(
