It really depends on who you have in your outfield and who would be your new starting 3B. Manny for Chavez might be worth it; I wouldn't do it for Jones. If you have a weak OF and a good backup third base option, I would take Manny for Chavez. But keep in mind that Chavez is the best 3B in the game.
I think I phrased that the wrong way. I think I could trade Manny or Jones for Chavez. I've got Wells, Carlos Lee, Jones, Millar, and Manny in the OF. At 3B I've been alternating Batista, Crede, and Randa. There's a few others out there like Wigginton, but none compare to Chavez. Think it's worth the trade?
totaly, but will the guy do it? i wouldnt accept it if someone offered it ot me. but, acctually, i wouldnt trade one of your OF. you dont have that great of one. all the guys are guys that start off good and then always slump, except manny and maybe jones. but if you can get chazev for jones, i would do that over manny gor chavez.
I've also got Helton which he expressed interest for, but I don't think I'd trade him straight up for Chavez. If I traded Helton I could stick Millar at 1B. If I could grab another decent OF along with Chavez, is that worth it? Not sure what a reasonable OF to ask for is though.
As far as my OF goes, don't you think Millar will have a good year? And I figured between Wells and Lee, I'd get some decent numbers. Maybe I'm wrong though, it is my first time doing this.
i mean, they will be average but not great. who is in his outfiels. if you could do helton and lee/wells/millar/ for chavez and someone like shannon stewert or whatever he has, who does he have?
He's got Dunn, Payton, and a few others not worth mentioning. Stewart is actually on the wire still in our league. You think he's better than Millar, Wells, or Lee? I didn't think he was myself. And I really think Wells and Millar are going to have decent years. Lee is still iffy to me.
