Wondering what the opinions were on the board regarding who is the most valuable player in baseball relative to their position. My vote is for Soriano. His production out of 2B is amazing. Other opinions?

I would definitely say Soriano. 2nd base is a very thin position, and the way he is playin' he makes owners very satisfied. An honorable mention would of course be ARod. Smoltz has nasty stuff as well...love that guy.

i'd say it clearly has to be a-rod, he's the consensus #1 pick, and not only does he get it offensively but he's also a gold glover, you can't say that about soriano
