You don't want to be the old guy standing in the mall holding your wife's purse, do you? That's the path you are headed down.

Luckily for me, my wife's a baseball fan :-) .

The guy at the mall, holding a purse....lol! That's great Mad.

I can't really understand where ya coming from Sluggers, since i'm single. All I can say is that I had my laptop with my while I watched the game in front of my TV. It's a great combination.

Anyways, all I can say is you have to be online tonight for the epic game 7...... should be great! :-)

I guess I shouldn't make this a "bash my wife" thread, since that's bad karma.

In her defense, my wife is smart, hot, very umm... what's the polite word... amorus, and she is a rabid St. Louis sports fan. She just doesn't care about any other team in any other sport, so that's when we run into problems.

That and she hates fantasy baseball with a passion because "it takes away time from her."

Dammit! I couldn't end this on a positive note, could I?

Ditto and ditto on that. ;-D I hate A-Rod even more now than I ever did. And then the Yankee fans chanting BS? Come on, that's just pitiful. :-D

The BS chant was totally acceptable. I would have done the same thing. Of course once you see the play close up in slo-mo, you see they got the call right. But the fun of being at a game like that is getting excited about everything with a bunch of rabid fans around you. Can't blame them for that. But throwing things..... that's crossing the line.

Completely agreed. The BS chant is fine, but throwing stuff? It reminds me of european soccer matches.... those things can get scary. :-t
