I'm not really one for stats, I'm more of a feel type of guy. But even so, this argument is quite convincing. Just out of curiosity, can we find these pitch count stats against the Yankees? They're the ones that seem to be his "daddy"..

They used to show MLB games on the free to air channels here like 10 years ago....and they would show them at around 12am. He was the only guy that was ever broadcasting those games that I saw. Nowadays, we have FOX and ESPN and see at least a game a day. Still want more tho :~(

Nowhere that I know of. Taking pitch count out of the equation, Martinez has a 3.24 career ERA against the Yankees, above his career 2.71 against all teams. Statistically, his worst team to face is Houston, a career 4.76 ERA in 75.2 innings.
