I won the Fidrych League title in 2004, but my wife just had a baby and I won't have time to defend the title. I'd like to pass my team on to a new (and dedicated) owner who is interested in joining a league on a long-term basis.
The Fidrych League just finished its 6th season. It's NL only, Roto 5x5, auction keeper. Auctions are LIVE and in-person each April, usually held in Durham, North Carolina (although location may change). We have 10 teams currently.
Annual entry fee is around $30. I won $150 this year.
Looking for an experienced owner who will be committed and involved (I don't want to screw these guys by leaving my team to a dead owner) for the long haul. Most owners attend auction in person, although a few have phoned in in the past (auctions last 8-10 hours).
The League has a detailed written Constitution and a strong history. A different franchise has won the league title every year.
We have 7-9 keepers, and my team has the following potential keepers (or trade bait) based on a $260 salary cap:
Craig Wilson, $5
Lance Berkman, $15
Mark Loretta, $1
Jose Reyes, $7
Sean Casey, $15
Scott Rolen, $37
A.J. Burnett, $8
Matt Clement, $11
Jake Peavy, $14
Carlos Zambrano, $17
Danny Graves, $13
Braden Looper, $13
Kris Benson, $3
