about Capellan - what are the chances of Smoltz moving into the rotation and Capellan eventually getting a set-up or even the closer job next year?

or is he just not major league ready yet?

I heard an interview with Smoltz on a local radio station last week and he said he still hoped to move into the rotation next year but said he didnt expect it to happen.

He says that every year but it doesn't happen. He's too old for the rotation. I think he'd blow out his arm again if he tried because gotten used to 1-2 innings a night by now. Just my opinion though.

Not to mention, if they wanted to use Smoltz as a starter, last year would have been the year.
