Ok Mets fans, I'm trying to decide which jersey I should get. I've decided on a replica alternate home jersey. Either the black one or the white one (not the one with pinstripes).
Then I need to decide which player should be on the jersey. I'm sad to say that there's aren't many Mets players that seem worthy to me other than Piazza. Maybe John Franco or Al Leiter but most of them will not be part of the 2005 Mets. Of course, most people wear Piazza's number but I wanted to be a little different. I originally was going to get Kazmir's number before he was traded away. Glavine will always be known as a Brave. Reyes is a possibility. So is Matsui. But Piazza is always a safe choice in the end I suppose.
Any help would be appreciated.

I would go with Reyes. He is young, exciting to watch (when he plays), and could turn into a stud next year. Also, Reyes is a better name than Piazza. Piazza seems to be a cliche, and I think it is a little late in his career to pick up one of his jerseys.
I'd go with
David Wright #5 He should be a Met for a while
and he has one of those cool single digit numbers...
Oh, and then Black, cus it hides the beer stains better ...

Well, theres always the bandwagon fans...
Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

Yeah, with any luck, he will be a great Met for years to come.

There's always people who can't take a joke
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."
Hmm. right now I'm leaning towards Reyes or Wright. I thought Reyes would have a brighter future but he's been injury-ridden so far. David Wright is a decent choice as well since I used to play 3rd base when I was younger.
That's good point about the black jersey not showing beer stains. Black it is. Anyone have any suggestions regarding the best place online to buy jerseys? Any experience with the replica jerseys as opposed to the authentic ones?
