i actually won the league. It was a 10 team league in yr 1 and we added 2 new teams. One of the managers in that league is a moderator in the cafe and is a huge braves fan *cough cough*. He finished 3rd with an all star team and shoulda won the league. I had Blake, Lawton and a Rollins who got hot the last few weeks (not lawton). I ruled the league in holds and was good in saves as well. Thanks for the reply.

i think i know who that is!
you have a very good groups of keepers but "his" team literally kicks ass.
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.
so the thing you can try is trading away old guys like Alou and Smoltz for top prospects to build for the future. Lopez and Madduz are also guys you should be looking to deal.

gonna be very tough to repeat but "that person" knows i know how to build a team for the playoffs. I would like to package alou or maddux in a trade somehow for a younger stud, prolly after the draft when i have my team finished, i can put a nice package together. O ya'll know who im talking bout, he LOVES Beltran, rightfully so tho lol.
