What the cameras didn't catch was the sight of Milton Bradley leading his teammates in a rousing rendition of "2-4-6-8, Who Do We Appreciate?": The Dodgers and Cardinals ending their series by meeting on the field and shaking hands, a classy gesture that shouldn't be ridiculed under any circumstances.
I laughed pretty hard. But the part about it being a classy gesture tha shouldn't be ridiculed under any circumstances, is he making fun of himself or does he not realize he just ridiculed it in the sentence before?
Those Page 2 guys have a tendency to get too wordy sometimes. When I read some of their articles, I occasionally feel like I'm watching a bunch of college-educated geeks see who can write up the most costly article by throwing out as many five-dollar phrases as possible in the shortest space possible.
Page 2 has a very good up side, and a very bad down side.

First they didn't even use Babe Ruth as a hitter when they had him, then they sell him to the Yanks, then they don't win a WS for almost 90 years despite having a huge fan base and tons of cash. It's like they don't want to win.
