I think Marte is still a couple years away from the majors. The Braves don't need to rush him with Chipper at third. He still needs to bring his average up (the power is already there) and work on striking out less (105 in 387 AB at Greenville)

Totally agree, nice to see you back at the FBC Pedantic.
Expect him to platoon again with Eli Marrero. They won't be bringing up Andy Marte anytime soon, since they have Chipper at third. They won't shift Chipper to first either since they have Adam LaRoche. This is a kid I expect huge things from. He already showed his great potential in the playoffs by hitting that game-tying three-run homer against the Astros. They might use Thomas or Marrero as trade bait to aquire another starter if Russ Ortiz or Paul Byrd leave via free agency....
