Only the good teams are left in the playoff hunt. Man, those Padres are terrible. All that hype and all that hard work and they end up missing the playoffs by 2-3 games.

Well, in any case, I think that we can all agree that the Padres are a terrible team that deserve a long vacation. Look at the size of their manager's head! This is the team that traded away Oliver Perez and Jason Bay for some has-been.

They deserve to lose.

and this is in no way a bitter stab at Wrveres for his gloating thread from when the Padres swept the Mets. I'm a little offended you would even think that.

I'm a huge padres fan and I thought we really had a good shot this year. Klesko needs to pick up his game badly right now, and while Giles was good, he wasn't up to the numbers we expected him to be at. Peavy for Cy Yound in the next 3 years! ;-D
