sorry to be an ass, but they moved cos there werent enough Expos fans in the first place.

there were plenty of expos fans a few years ago. once they started jerking the team around, the fans didn't come back. promises were not kept, so fans decided to stay away. i truly believe that if they had gotten the new downtown stadium, the expos would still be here in montreal, and thriving.

now, i guess i have to hope we get a minor league team.

The Expos would still be around today if it hadn't been for the baseball strike which screwed them out of one of the better teams of the past 15 years. How can you blame the fans for being bitter when after that they were never even given a chance to compete.
