But if the A's lose today, then the 4 game set with the M's would mean more that letting Ichio get his record. A's will need to go 4-4 aginst the M's, but if the A's win the west then all we will hear will be Money Ball this, money ball that. So... Go Rangers.

It depends on what you mean by it works. While I applaud the technique for allowing an otherwise handicapped team to succeed in the regular season, I refuse to bow down to a technique that hasn't won a championship.
