So he now needs 7 hits in 7 games? I'll say he gets it. :-)

Hitting .440 since the All-Star break 8-o ? That's insane. 8-o
Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.
Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.
Yes doctor, there will be a war.
Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

If he gets to with in one of the record, I might manage a tickett to an Oakland A's game to see him do it. He will avg 28 at bats, and has to go 7-28. Very possible. But if the A's lose today, then the 4 game set with the M's would mean more that letting Ichio get his record. A's will need to go 4-4 aginst the M's, but if the A's win the west then all we will hear will be Money Ball this, money ball that. So... Go Rangers.

Moneyball works. If the Rangers win, all we'll hear is about how Moneyball sucks, it never works, etc.

Go A's.

I'm planning on going to the A'S game on Tuesday. Knowing theyA's fans, there will be plenty of tickets available.

It depends on what you mean by it works. While I applaud the technique for allowing an otherwise handicapped team to succeed in the regular season, I refuse to bow down to a technique that hasn't won a championship. :-?
