I was watching the game and when the announcers said that was Tex's 5th walk, I thought they meant for the series with the A's. I pulled up the box score anyway, and lo and behold, there it was. 0/0, 0 runs, 0 rbi, 5 walks . I thought maybe I was seeing Bonds's stat line by mistake.

uummmmm, it helped me out incredibly, as i am in a league where walks is a stat and with tex's day and also having bonds i am not too worried about the walks for the next 10 days....i should have that one sewed up.....

you're still up by only 4 walks
that is true , but i imagine Mr. Bonds will get walked quite a bit in the next 10 games, so i should have enough to stay ahead of you hopefully.......
