on? huh? yea just giving you isht BUT you know as well as I that yahoo leagues are determined by thier competition. The Headrow league is quality but, as far as The Stank I have been leading all year with little comp.
Bottom line is that I am doing what I should be doing, right?

Now I welcome ANY and ALL of you to next years version of "Willamette Valley Tokers" so you can see what the new wave of fantasy baseball is all about.

Yes it is legit, yes it's competitive$$$(the posts wouldn't make this board) and yes I stream when needed and do a respectable job of it so don't think that would give you some type of extra advantage. My game is having players when they are hot and predicting the hotness. I had Weaver for a long time but he turned in to Hawkins once DA CUBS started their easy schedule.

Looks like a good enough staff.

The whole key to fantasy baseball is value. If you started Mark Kotsay from the end of May to the end of July, you had a near .400 hitter -- or an elite player for that period. If you spot started Victor Zambrano at home while in Tampa, you had a guy with an ERA near 3. When you're in deeper leagues, you tend to play the splits more as they win the leagues for you. When you're in shallower leagues, you aren't forced to even think about the splits.

I don't like free Yahoo (too easy to quit) or small leagues (the more owners = better discussion = better league), so I'll have to pass on the competition.

You not going to teach me much other than that you underestimate me with a paragraph like that bud, I'm light years beyond understanding the principles you speak of.

Not principles at all.

You just don't think about reading splits in shallow leagues (with so much talent to choose from the wire and generally you're fielding "all-star" type squads). It's the entire reason I like deep leagues. You have to do some reasearch.

Nothing is better than defeating an owner(s) who believes their squad is supposed to win based on talent alone. Talent doesn't win fantasy leagues, stats do

To get back to Peavy, I'll be looking to draft him next year. Odds are that he will go higher than I will take him and I'll miss out, but I'll be keeping my eye on him just in case. I'd have absolutely no problems with him on any of my teams next year.
