Will LIDGE be the closer next year?

i am trying to figure my keepers and want to know if lidge will be closing next season for huston ?? THANX

No reason he would be closing in Houston :-)

He has done a good job, they don't have the money for a FA closer and no one is better in that bullpen.

I don't see why he wouldn't be the closer...... ever since Dotel was traded he's only blown 2 saves. And the man has 140 K's! Most starters don't have 140 K's! He gets 2.5 K's for every hit he gives up! The only other guy above 2 that I could find is K-Rod. You'd seriously have to think about him being one of the top closers going into next season. Gagne is obviously there too, and K-Rod of course, but between those 3 I don't know if I'd have a preference.

So YES! Lidge will probably be the closer next season.

I agree, he's got the stuff to be a great closer, and he's proving he can take the pressure/expectations so far. ;-D

i agree ,as i cant think of any possible reason why he will not be closing next year....and i see him as a top 5 closer for next year as well.......
