ill take the blame for this one. I jinxed him in the Game Commentary And Venting Forum. Sorry. Since I said it my relievers just coughed up 5ER. 3 from Romero, 2 from Ryan.

I am now in big trouble in my Roto league. I guess i deserve it

That win got me 1.5 roto points. That's how tight things are in my league. Go Foulke!

Foulke in the third round? Sorry, that's nuts. I'll take my Rivera in the fifth, Cordero in the eighth.
I'm back. Sorta.

Do not boo Johnny.

i dont have Foulke cos i dont like overpaying for "elite" closers. anyways, bottomline: Red Sox won. ;-D
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.

Foulke in the 3rd? You were asking for a let down.

Let it be a lesson to take less proven/cheap closers in the later rounds. Cordero, Nathan, and Benitez helped me a ton this year. I have feeling Baez will be a great closer next year, and I'm sure I'll be drafting him in most of my leagues. He should come really cheap.

Pretty bittersweet finish. Rather would have had Schilling take the 'W' and Foulke with a save....but then, wouldn't have gotten Bellhorn's two RBI's...Oh well, I'll take whatever I can get at this time of year.
Blessed are the cheesemakers.

I have JC and BJ also, :-P , but I think those 3 runs for JC are unearned. At least they are on Yahoo.
