Rare Don Mattingly card

the 2002 Leaf Clubhouse signatues gold card of Don Mattingly, card #'d 12/25!! THATS RIGHT ONLY 25 EVER MADE. The card was just pulled from a box of leaf I bought, and the card was placed into a top loader. The value of this card is ????, hundreds?, thousands? When I checked the beckett price guide it said it was too rare to price!!! And when I called a rep at Beckett, he said the same thing and that if he had to place a price it would be around $750-$1000 !!!! because from the time when Don Mattingly retired to 2002 he did not do many of these special autograph or game used cards!!!
