For these reasons alone, roto is better. At least one bad week in roto won't eliminate you from the hunt...it may hurt your chances, but won't eliminate you.

After the week I just went through, I'm not so sure about that...

I'm a roto guy first and foremost myself though. No playoffs, no luck, no quantity over quality. Just the best team winning it all. Everyone else just loses.

I like roto for keeper leagues. Its simple, and its clear who the best team is over the course of a season.

I prefer H2H for single season however. Because for me it always takes time to find the right players, and if youre scuffling in April and May, its very difficult to come back. In H2H you just need to make 6th place and then get hot in September. Very much like real baseball IMHO.

Lots of tragic stories in H2H leagues. My pitching sunk me all year, so my demise was expected.

That's why I love it! Couldn't imagine playing it any other way...
