I may finish dead-last, but there's no way I'd EVER have Everett on my team.
Could'nt have put it any better. Too bad that fan did'nt throw a sledge hammer. The biggest instance and near only one were Fantasy stats just don't matter to me. That guy is pure scum.
She turned me into a newt...........................
He thew something at a fan and gave him a little cut. Big deal. Cry me a river. Fans were throwing things at him as well. I wasn't there, but if fans were throwing things at him I wouldn't blame him for throwing things back. I have had Everett on my team for almost 5 games now and I am satisfied with his performance so far.
Of course i am going to be sympathetic towards a ranger, but from what it looked like, a fan dropped a watch on to the field (i believe it was there before Texas took the field that inning, so i do not think it was thrown at everett). The fans were yelling at everett to throw the watch back up to them, and he did but smacked someone in the face in teh process (accidentally, though it was a pretty dumb move, he should have just given it to an usher or something). The Oakland fans didnt like it and one threw a cell phone at him (a good shot, too) and hit him. Thats my theory on it, pure speculation though.
hey if you can pick him up and need a guy to play for you while hes hot theres probably no one better on the wire than everett.....id say hes worth at least a week, but watch out, as soon as he goes cold it gets very icy....

I couldn't live with myself if I had him on the team. I know that fantasy baseball doesn't mean squat to real life and it doesn't matter if I have him on my team, but I won't take him. He is scum. I can't believe that no one has brought up his child and wife beating past (does anyone remember them being taken from him around 99?) Sure, he's good for a few "Dinosaurs don't exist" or "We never landed on the moon" jokes, but that's not worth dirtying my soul.
