He's gonna retire soon, not gonna come back and be effective in the Majors ever again :-/. I read in the SF Chronicle at the beginning of this season that if he was unsuccessful in coming back this season, he would hang it up soon, after this season or next.

No, Nen isn't going to retire. He wants to try to pitch next season and will probably sign a minor league contract with an invite to Spring Training.

Hermanson will most likely be back as closer for the Giants next season. ;-D

Unless we dont resign him (is he still under contract after this year?) like we didnt with Worrell.

Nen's contract comes off the books after this season. He'll most likely sign a minor league contract and invite to ST with the Giants or another team.
