I've Got A Bat

Postby StlSluggers » Fri Sep 17, 2004 5:51 pm

If anyone has a bag of baseballs, we can all meet at Busch tomorrow around noon so that we can give these guys about two weeks worth of ground balls and pop ups.

What happened to the defense? :-o

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad this is happening before the playoffs and not during them, but I hope that this is just bad luck and not a result of the team relaxing mentally.

C'mon Cards!

dont worry dude your defense should be fine. its the Cardinals, remember ? you guys got like 17 gold glovers. :-°
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.

I'm not really all that concerned about it, but it is frustrating to watch because it's so uncommon for the team to play like this. I'm sure they'll snap out of it in time to start cleaning up in the playoffs.
