Mets @ Pirates rained out today

Postby Thats NOT Snowflake » Fri Sep 17, 2004 3:54 pm

Due to weather forecasts of steady rain caused by Tropical Storm Ivan, the Pittsburgh Pirates are postponing Friday's 7:05 p.m. game versus the Mets, the Pirates' official site reports. Glavine is expected to start Saturday's game against John Van Benschoten, while Friday's game will be rescheduled as part of a doubleheader to be played on Sunday, beginning at 1:35 p.m.

For those of you with daily lineup changes adjust accordingly.

As a Mets fan this is some of the best news I've heard in weeks. the Mets can't lose again today. :~(
Last night my wife asked me if I wanted to live out my fantasy.
I replied, "You going to trade me Scott Rolen ?!?!"

Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.
Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.
Yes doctor, there will be a war.
Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.

maybe I should pick up Piazza off of waivers
I wonder if NYY/BOS and PHI/MON will finish. NYY/BOS is delayed now.
