Strategy when up big for H2H? Improve weakness or not?

Postby jjigglers » Fri Sep 17, 2004 2:20 pm

im doing pretty well in my H2H league. some categories are locked up, and some can be improved on. what do you think i should do?

HITTING
cats: R H HR RBI SB BB AVG
me: 24 38 4 13 6 15 .290
him: 17 33 4 27 1 10 .268

PITCHING
ive locked up pitching, leading him 5-0-1 here.

as you can see, the only category he's really won is RBI. my question for hitting is this: should i bench speed(crawford/pierre) and put in power(giles/burnitz)? SB is guaranteed locked up for me, he has no real base stealers.

i'd stick with crawford just because he'll get you runs and a good average, and burnitz is away for the rest of the week. (err... i think. if not, burnitz wouldn't be a bad option at all)

OTOH, i'd bench pierre for giles. he's been tearing the ball up lately.
