ok here's the deal. for the past few months in my league, i've punted the SP categories and used all relievers cuz of what our stats count:

IP W L SV H R BB K ERA
9.2 0 1 4 10 5 4 12 4.66 <--- me
8.0 0 0 4 4 0 0 8 0.00 <--- him

winning cats are in bold

now he's doin the same and it's working, so i was thinking should i do the opposite of what i was doing? it doesn't look good if i just keep doing the same thing.. stupid yan and torres hurt me this week and we're in the playoffs..

here's my pitching roster:

Pos Pitchers
SP J. Affeldt
SP S. Torres
SP J. Beckett
SP K. Wood
RP T. Hoffman
RP J. Nathan
P C. Cordero
P J. Speier
P E. Yan
BN M. Mussina
DL B. Penny

here's his:

RP U. Urbina
RP G. Aquino
P L. Hawkins
P J. Putz
P D. Graves
BN B. Sheets
BN J. Peavy
BN C. Zambrano
BN C. Sabathia
BN T. Hudson
BN F. García

should i start wood tonight?? WHAT SHOULD I DO?? :-o

I would pitch Wood, yes. Build up the IP, K's and a potential Win. At only 8 innings pitched so far, it wouldn't take much for his ERA or Runs to balloon up (one night blowup off one of his relievers), but I'd still pitch Wood against Cincy.
