#3 all time. Him and Roger are still 1500k's behind Nolan Ryan. I think that record is going to be safe for a long time. That is ridiculous how far ahead of everyone he is.

He is truely an imposing pitcher. I am sure we all remember the all star game against John Kruk a few years back. While the K record is safe for now, I wonder which pitchers the cafe feels have a shot? Prior/Wood/Santana ect..

Oliver Perez....you have to average 250+ k's for 20 years just to have a shot at Nolan Ryan.

Wood is probably too old at this point and not far enough to be able to beat out Ryan

i dont think anyone has a chance at that record. Nolan Ryan was insane.
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.

Agreed, in an era where we care so much about pitch counts etc. I think it is safe for a while.

Its too bad RJ got such a relatively late start on his career. The extra 10 seasons Nolan has on him is too much to overcome even though RJ is far and away the better pitcher.
