Need a little help with signature

I have a photo I want to use as my signature but I am technologically handicapped, lol. I fooled around with this for a couple hours and finally got it to about the right size, but then somehow it was no longer a jpeg file and I couldn't figure out how to get it into my Sig. Here's the link if someone could be so good as to size it properly and tell me how to download it:
