I like Beowulf a little better than Mario....the whole mid-evil thing and dragons and stuff....but the graphics are not as good...and it runs a little slow sometimes... :-b

Indeed, two of my favorite games of all time are from the Genesis console, Altered Beast and Pit-Fighter.

I have no idea where to start on a favorite classics list, but The Legend of Zelda got it's start back then too. :-)

I don't know too much about Beowulf but Born to be Wild and Magic Carpet Ride are kick ass tunes! ;-D

btw Perlick - I avoid your posts whenever I am surfing with my 2 yr old on my lap. Whenever he sees Mario he laughs his head off and won't let me scroll down. Now I've got to avoid BB02 too.

It think that is Steppenwolf...he was a little later than Beowulf... :-b

I really don't think this is what BB02 had in mind when he started this thread.... ;-)

I like sonic myself, much better game than mario IMO.

And baseballer I'm not sure if they have what you are looking for, but whenever I have to read a book or something I go to http://www.sparknotes.com.

i know a bit about beowolf, my favorite is his battle with grendal. that was the bomb. The book is great incase anyone is interested in war, vikings, travel, and mythology. Really a good read.
