I'm not sure how they decided on the first game, but weren't home arenas based on record? So Canada kept getting home-ice advantage because they had the better record? Not positive but that's how I think it works.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

We went undefeated, so we had home-ice the whole way there

Well considering that Canada has the best hockey fans in the world, it's fair enough that we had a lot of the games here. We beat you guys pretty handily in SLC, so I don't know that home ice advantage plays that big a role
But seriously, I don't know why all the games were played in Canada. Maybe because they knew they could easily sell-out here, I dunno.
EDIT: According to the last 2 posters, it was because they had the best record. I didn't know that, but I guess it makes sense.

in the round robin part, the european dividion played them in europe. there were also games played in the us. canada ended up all in canada, but i'm not sure it was record that decided it.
in the final, canada got home ice (last change) advantage by winning a coin toss.
To bad that looks like it will be all of the hockey we will see for a while...

Unfortunately, I agree. Lockouts stink no matter what sport they involve.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
