What would you say?

I saw this as a poll over on the Baseball side of ESPN.com and was surprised by the results. The question was "Who is STL's MVP?", with Edmonds, Pujols, and Rolen the choices with Pujols and Rolen at about 43% each and Edmonds at about 14%. Where's the love for Edmonds? I would think Edmonds is way more valuable than that. He's one of if not the best defensive OF in the game and delivers power and average from the left side of the plate. I guess it's just a name recognition thing, but man. :-° What do you guys think? :-?

I would say that the Cards MVP was not even listed.

The award has to go to Dave Duncan. The man is a genius and worked miracles this year.

Of the three listed I would pick Pujols. That's not to say that Edmonds isn't valuable but you can only pick on right?

Who would you pick?

That's a good question, I would probably take Rolen, but I would think if people really watched them the Edmonds would get a little more of the vote, but then again, I try to see them on a daily basis or at least look at the box scores so I realize what he does for them more than a casual or distand observer. I really shouldn't be as shocked as I was now that I think about it though. Maybe you Canadians do know something about baseball after all. ;-D :-D

I have to take Rolen this year. He's playing wayyyy over his statistical norms, and his glove is just awesome.

I'd like to take the pitching staff, but I can't do that, can I?
