Has anybody heard anything about Urbina? He's been in Venezuela since his mother got kidnapped, but I can't afford to have him sitting on my bench doing nothing if he's not coming back anytime soon. On the same note, I don't want to drop him a I'm in a keeper league. Anybody heard anything?

Based on the situation, I'd say it's highly unlikely he'll be returning this season. I said that when this unfortunate event first took place. Seems pretty obvious, doesn't it?

If you plan on keeping Uggy, then obviously you shouldn't drop him, but otherwise, he most likely will not return this season.

Very sad (both in real life and fantasy). Have the kidnappers gotten into contact with Urbina yet? I heard that most of these kidnappings are usually caused by monetary reasons, so you'd think that they'd be asking for a certain deposit sometime soon.

I wound up dropping Urbina in favor of Yan. I wouldn't be able to hold onto Urbina after the season in my keeper league anyway, and I just can't afford to have an empty spot in my roster this week (I'm battling the two-time defending champion...6-6 after one day).

The Tigers gave German some work last night. He's supposed to be their closer of the future. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get some save ops down the line.

Yan has been terrific of late. The ugly WHIP was from his earlier appearances. I look for him to get just about any Tiger save opps the rest of the way.
