What ever happened to Greg Miller?

He was one of the top pitching prospects in the minors last year. He hasn't played at all this year has he? I know he had some sort of surgery on his shoulder but I thought he was supposed to miss only half the season. Anyone have any news on him?

I don't know alot, all I know is he missed the whole season with shoulder surgey although next year he should be starting at AA and as a 20 year old that's still pretty good.

Had surgery on his left shoulder to find out what was bothering him when he was throwing. Turned out there was no structural damage of any kind, but there was a bursa sac that had to be removed. It was nothing major and he presume to get a month or two in at the end of the minor league season. He didn't recover as soon as they hoped so they pretty much just handled him with "kiddy gloves" since he is still so young. Looks like he will pitch in an instructional league in the off season and return to Double A next year. Might have slowed him down some but he was already way above the learning curve last year, so he will still be young for AA next year.
