Biker's Barbecue. The book sounds kinda crappy but this author sound weirdly familiar:

:

Stefan Micke, known to the authorities since
1972, completed four years at the American school in Vienna. At the age of 18, he infiltrated the University of Vienna, where he lived as an insignificant history student for years. Since his disguise was detected, he follows his evil practices under the code name "master of arts". Recently he was spotted as a writer of screenplays and board games. Eyewitnesses suspect that he is willing to earn large amounts of money with these activities.

I love this review:

:
"Thrilling and mettle-some reading suited for more or less sportive America-fans."
Feine Adressen (Austria)

"A delightful book not only for the crazy folks who would love to set out on a tour like this themselves."
Augsburger Allgemeine (Germany)

"If we are ever to become as crazy as these guys: 'Biker's Barbecue' provides valuable advice for imitators."
Westfalenpost (Germany)

"As light-heartedly written as they cycled. Most charming of all are the various human encounters, in which you learn a lot about the Americans."
Die Furche (Austria)

Stefan Micke - the next Bill Bryson!!

I tried to order my copy but it was only available in German - I will get a notification when the english version is available.

You know you could have added the Cafe to the links page.

Interesting....... :-D
Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.
Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.
Yes doctor, there will be a war.
Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

Yeah, it was happening to the football cafe also. I'm sure the bikers are wondering how come their hits total was suddenly skyrocketing!

looks an awful lot like the guy on the left:

More evidence to support Menyak's evil attempt to brainwash the Cafe's members into buying his book :-?

Seems like you're a man of great taste! ;-D I'm told that it sells for $200 on the black market, so you better hold onto it once you grab a copy. ;-)
