Trade and whos Indians closer for the year

Postby Yeaok » Wed Aug 07, 2002 11:15 am

He gets: Wade Miller and JD drew
I get: Troy Percival and Mondesi

It just comes down to whos better Miller or Percival

Miller is 6-0 in his last 6 starts but I only have 30 more appearances left for starters and i have Pedro and Zito. Tell me what i should do

And whos Indians closer for the rest of the season?

IF you are that close to your starts limit then hold on to Percival and Mondesi.

Oh and Wohlers is closing in CLE he has 4 saves so far

I like Percival/Mondesi as well, mainly because I believe Miller will come down to earth somewhat.

Wohlers has looked good closing, but I still think the odds are in favor of Wickman regaining the closer's role very soon.

It's already been announce. Wickman is the close as soon as he's back.

Drew has been a major bust this year, and he won't even be playing full weeks the rest of the season. He's a headache unless you're in a daily league because you never know if he'll play the whole week. Keep Mondesi.

Yea you don't really need another solid starter if your nearing your limit so I would trade for Percival and Mondesi.Drew is a major upset and Miller should slow down a bit.
