i would hold off, because "win at all costs" doesn't always spread the good will.

although, personally, I have thought of doing something like this myself, and can see the temptation. having a high waiver priority at this point is an advantage you hold over your competitors, you saved it (or used it prudently up until this point) so you should be able to reap a benefit from it (think of the opportunity cost the rest of the leage ahd whent hey used their position willy nilly). if you did, I sure as hell wouldn't do it with anyone major. you could probably do a "minor trade" like this and not have anyone notice, or be able to put up much of an issue.

no way do you venture into superstar strategy IF you are going to do it, which I don't recommend.
