Off topic: If beltran had stayed in the AL and put up the same numbers he has now, would he win the MVP?

Beltran would never have won the mvp...usually they give it to the person on a contending team with great numbers ex. manny,sheff,vlad...a-rod was the exception last year...and if they voters were going to give the mvp to a guy on a bad team it would certainly go to ichiro rather then beltran
