We are having an issue in our league going into the playoffs about our rosters. We are all in agreeance to lock our rosters for the playoffs to prevent spot starting and other sneaky tactics, but if this is done and the rosters are locked, we are unable to take a player off the DL if he becomes available to use, so those players we've been holding onto for just this scenario won't be of any help to us, the only thing we could come up with is if you think that a player will come off the DL to play during the playoffs you need to make him part of your active bench before the playoffs and thereby meaning we have to release one of our players. Has anybody come across anything like this and what did you guys do to resolve it???? Any and all answers would be greatly appreciated, Thanks guys!!!

is it possible to allow changes after each playoff series? keep the roster locked during the series and then on the final day of the series you unlock it so people can make changes for the next series. basically just make it like a weekly transaction league.

just leave 'em unlocked and tell everyone that whoever spot starts will be disqualified.

Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.

that is probably the best way to go. In a private league and especially if you know the people they will probably be willing to agree to not spot start.
