I voted for Bonds, and I would like to see the award renamed the "Barry Bonds Award."

i dont care if the Giants make the postseason or not (even though due to stupid traditional thinking that the mvp HAS to take his team to the playoffs, the outcome might be different).....

it is the Barry Bonds award... the man has 21% of his team's win shares. that says a LOT.
for comparision, Rolen- 12.5%. Pujols- 12. Beltre- <12%.

i almost missed it, but: Beltre's stats arent as far off ??? the OPS difference between Bonds and Beltre is .393 which is also similar to the .389 difference between Beltre and BRAD AUSMUS.
